The Scan&Organize Addon for Sage ACT! allows document management INSIDE of the ACT! interface.
Scan and Org creates a tab in your ACT! layouts called 'Organizer'. The Organizer tab allows you to link to the desired Windows folder for each contact, company, opportunity and/or group and manage the files within the ACT! Interface.
Simply lookup the contact, company, group or opportunity and click on the Organizer tab. The contents of the linked folder are automatically displayed and available.
From inside of this tab, the ACT! user can create subfolders automatically, manage files such as delete, cut, paste, rename, etc.
The user can also drag and drop files including Outlook emails into the Organizer tab.
Files can alternately be attached to histories, notes and the ACT! document tab. The user can even execute an activity or activity series from withing the Organizer.
