Order routing decisions based on current market conditions require low-latency views of many markets simultaneously. Most solutions today use CTA/UTP and OPRA as their source for market data. However, these feeds are not the lowest latency view into the markets. Furthermore, these deployments typically incur costs associated with deploying a large number of servers to handle market data bursts so as not to fall behind. Using direct exchange feeds greatly lowers the latency of the source market data but makes the processing challenge even greater. With most of these solutions, order routing decisions are made with stale data, and the deployment results in increased operational expenses.
Redline Trading Solutions solves this problem by allowing both direct exchange feeds and consolidated feeds to be combined on a single-server solution with the market’s lowest latencies.
