Jersey City, New Jersey— GRM Document Management, a leader in end-to-end information management solutions, announced today that it has been approved as a contracted vendor for Indiana University. As a result, GRM can now provide any IU department with a wide range of cost-effective services such as offsite document storage, scanning/imaging, digital hosting and certified destruction.
“We are excited and proud to be a vendor for Indiana University, which is one of the largest institutions of higher learning in the state,” said Eric Leugers, the General Manager of GRM’s Indianapolis location. “This allows us to offer offices and departments throughout the university system proven records management solutions that include data protection, regulatory compliance, governance/retention and migrating paper to a digital environment.”
Offering more than 200 major and 550 academic programs, to over 110,000 students, the multi-campus, public IU system represents an extraordinary opportunity for GRM. In offering its information management capabilities to IU’s schools, administrators and other internal entities, GRM is also extending a special incentive. Whenever GRM receives IU’s physical document storage inventory from another 3 rd party vendor, the account closing and permanent removal costs (which can be substantial) will be reimbursed.
“With this vendor contract in place,” continued Leugers, “we’ll be able to deliver a number of end-to-end information management services that will create process efficiencies saving the university significant time and money. Such services include remote inventory management control, the continuous barcode tracking of documents, on or off site scanning for both standard and large format documents, the intelligent digital capture of information and embedding extracted data into workflow automation processes.”
